Today at Lions Day with the United Nations in the Palace of Westminster we launched MD105 British Isles Vision Screening Programme
The initial phase of the programme with start in District CE over the next 6-9 months and then spread District by District across the British Isles
A full update to District Officers and Clubs will be sent in the coming weeks - after four years of hard work the mission to inspire Lions of MD105 to be Knights of the Blind is just beginning
At yesterday’s Lions Clubs International MD105 Day with the United Nations, we promised to launch the Vision Screening Programme.
With the help of Lyons Hall School & HCRG Care Group we screened over 300 children & 20 staff today.
It’s been a long journey, but we have started to develop the model to be adopted across the British Isles.
Two of the attendees today were so blown away with what we do they were inducted into the Centennial 100 Champions Lions Club, by none other that Lion Mark Lyon - International Third
